The official closure of the mines of potashes of Alsace took place in 2004. A century is elapsed between the discovery of the deposit and the end of its extraction. This industry profoundly changed the landscape, the economy and lifestyle of this region. I established a panorama of individuals who build a technical cultural and tourist recognition of what made wealth of their country. Fundamentally moved by their only affection, their determination seems derisory compared with the challenge, but critical, of the identification of our environment present and future.
